Sean supports a person’s right to choose, and knows politics shouldn’t have a place in the decision to start a family. He supports any measures to repeal Michigan’s 1931 abortion ban and ensure right to priavcy and the ballot initiative to enshrine Reproductive Freedom into Michigan’s Constitution.
Protecting Michigan’s Water and Natural Resources
Sean has made it his mission to protect our state’s most precious resources and decrease Michigan’s carbon footprint. Sean works to protect the Kalamazoo River and our drinking water from PFAS and other toxic chemicals, and hold polluters accountable.

Public Education and Childcare
The effect of the pandemic on students, educators, childcare providers and parents has been hard on Michigan and its schools. Sean has supported bipartisan budget agreements that have provided record per-pupil funding to Michigan’s public schools. He supports increased funding for higher education institutions and secured funding for their critical projects and programs.
